From consultations and workplace accommodations for faculty and staff to accessibility services and training available to the entire campus community, the Disability Equity Office staff are devoted to removing barriers and enhancing access for all members of our university community.

Consultations
Our staff is available to answer questions on various topics related to accessibility, disability, workplace accommodations, and more. Review common topics and request a consultation.

Accommodations
Workplace accommodations are available for faculty, staff, and undergraduate and graduate student employees. We also assist prospective students, community members, and campus visitors with their access needs and accommodations. Learn more about accommodations.

Disability Navigators
Disability navigators are dedicated liaisons for specific schools, colleges, and units, providing referrals and resources for disability and accessibility requests within their assigned areas. Learn more about disability navigators.

ASL & CART Services
American Sign Language (ASL) interpretation and Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) services are available for employees and events on the Ann Arbor campus. Learn more about ASL & CART Services.

Trainings
Workshops and individualized training are available for departments, units, and university organizations on various topics from ADA basics, workplace accommodations, and the interactive process to creating disability-inclusive workspaces, classrooms, events, and more. Building, Architectural, and Design Reviews
On-site building walk-throughs help identify access issues and provide recommendations to make campus spaces more accessible. We work closely with partners to review construction and renovation plans and designs for displays, signage, and physical materials. Request a walk-through or design review.
