National Disability Employment Awareness Month

Each October, the Disability Equity Office celebrates National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) through a series of engagement opportunities promoting disability inclusion across the University of Michigan.

Thank you to everyone who helped make our 2026 National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM) keynote event a success! Approximately 500 attendees joined us virtually and in-person for Tiffany Yu’s keynote, the annual resource fair, and the spoon theory event on October 6th, coming together to learn, connect, and advance disability inclusion across the University of Michigan. We’re grateful to our participants, campus and community partners, and DEO staff for making this celebration possible.
